Kaid's 7th Birthday party!!!

Kaid had his birthday party today at our Aunt Kathy's pool. He had so much fun with his friends and family! I can't believe that he is already 7 years old. What a big guy! Instead of cake, all the kids got a giant cookie with icing. Messy, but fun. I wish our St. Louis family could've been there, but we'll be up to see them on Thursday, and the party will really begin. We have 4 bbq's planned over the 3 day weekend. Crazy!

Trip to KC

I took Tim to Kansas City for Father's Day to watch the Cardinals play and whoop up on the Royals. We had a lot of fun. We ate some bbq, went to the game, did some shopping, ate some more, then went back to the hotel. We missed Kaid so much. We're gonna take him by himself to KC in August for a day and night of FUN! It was nice to get away. Now, we're off to St. Louis next weekend with the boys for the 4th of July. F-U-N!

Day at the Pool

Today me and Brighton spent the day at the pool for my birthday with my friend, Crystal and her little guy, Coleton. Thankfully Brighton loves the water, whether it's warm or cold. We had a great time, except for the terrible sunburn on my back. I spent the rest of the day going to Kaid's baseball game, which they won second place in their tournament....Go Tigers!!! Then, I went over to my sis's and just hung out and painted a little. A special thanks to mom for taking me and Rach shopping. I don't do it very often, so THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Kaid has a new brother!

Kaid officially has another brother, Trigg Edward Peck. This is the second brother in 5months. I'm sure he's wondering, "So, how many more?" All joking aside, Trigg is precious, and Kaid is so glad to be a big brother. I think it's neat that we all get along so well, and Kaid can have his two brothers together. It was special to see that at the hospital. Mother and baby are great, and I'm sure Kaid is going to be the best big brother to Brighton and Trigg. Kaid, we love you so much. You'll always hold a special place in everyone's heart. We know that you'll be the most protective and best big brother in the whole world! Congratulations!

Brighton is very serious most of the time, but we definitely caught him in a good mood.

Big Sunday

This is a picture of my mom and dad at their store with the boys. We go see them at least twice a day everyday, yet we never remember to ever take pictures with them. I felt bad because there were no pics of them on the blog. I feel better now.

Yesterday, we decided to get out of the house after church and go on a hike at Devil's Den. We usually sit around and watch tv all afternoon, so it was nice to get out. Tim and I are out of shape, though. So, with a 17lb baby and his 10lb backpack, we really got a workout. Kaid was a trooper. We went on a mile and a half trail, saw a snake, went up steep hills, and he loved it all. Brighton just enjoyed the scenery from his dad's chest.

After dinner at Nanny's, we took the boys to swim at my aunt Kathy's with their cousins. This was Brighton's first swim, and he loved it. He really liked watching the five other boys that were swimming around and splashing. I'm sure we'll be out there a million times this summer.
